Lorenzo Canova

Fellow 2017-2022

Lorenzo is an Application Engineer for Machines Systems dedicated to sheet metal working at Prima Industrie S.p.A. While showing potentialities of automated production lines, he is also taking care of projects related to Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence in the context of processes optimization.

He has been adjunct professor of the "Digital Revolution" course (Rivoluzione Digitale) held by prof. De Martin at Politecnico di Torino from 2015 (https://rivoluzionedigitale.polito.it/about-en).

Between 2014 and January 2017, he has been research fellow and subsequently managing director of the Nexa Center for Internet & Society. For one year he has been managing coordinator of the Global Network of Internet & Society Research Centers.

Lorenzo holds a II level master degree in Manufacturing 4.0 from Politecnico di Torino. He is registered at the Engineers register (Albo Ingegneri) of Torino as industrial engineer.
